General Any interest in a speeduino plug in ECU?

I can't do schematic as I had a computer crash and lost the cad files other than the completed Gerber, however I do have two ECU already made and ready to go to suit the evo 123 header if you were interested.

I'd love to know how you wired in your power inputs. When I setup my speeduino I took pins 103 and 107, I believe which both go to the MPI relay, and make those the 12volt inputs. The problem with this is as soon as I plug the ECU in, it grounds the MPI relay and that relay then powers the rest of the sensors in the car. Initially this isn't a problem, but if I left the ECU plugged in it would end up draining the battery a lot quicker.

It may also end up damaging my wide band as it would be heating up the element in the O2 sensor while the car isn't running I believe.

What I did was build a simple transistor circuit that when the ignition key was turned on, it used a transistor to ground out the MPI relay. There is a current limiting resistor on it, a diode to prevent other electrics from holding the relay on, and a 330uF capicator to create about a 1 second delay to prevent against any unintended interruptions in the ign key 12v signal.

I’m interested in one for a 1g myself anymore updates to your project
There will be no 1G plug one.

What I should have done is a 2G plug, because the 4 plug is the same as the EVO 123 plug, the 4th connector contains items that are not relevant to the evo 123. Pretty common to use a 4 plug ECU on an evo 123 3-plug loom.

Hindsight aye. Unfortunately I lost the source files for the PCBs in data backup mistake so unless there is a substantial demand I dont think I will redevelop the PCBs. I do have plenty of evo 123 3-plug boards here though.

Yea an update:

So as I lost the data files for my PCB designs, Ive had to start from scratch again. I havn't had any time to do this until now, and Im starting to work away on it on my downtime when Im away on work.

Im redesigning this one from scratch to suit the 4-plug 2G connector, and have support for the v6 engines also, as they have the same connector and largely the same pinout. Earlier 3-plug (64 pin) vehicles like the evo 123 etc are very easily converted to run on the 4-plug ECU, but Im not sure about the 1g DSM. I probably expect this process of the design to take 3 months just with me working on it on and off, but Ill provide some updates as it progresses.

It will still be based around the UA4C ecu, I think its a really solid little board for the speeduino setup and the form factor works well with what I need it to do, has a good range of inputs and outputs to accomodate all the stock functions that we need.
