Yoshi, if your looking for meets in LA go to ladsm.com and go to their LADSM MEETS forum. They have one every Monday I believe and the turn out is pretty good, I'd like to do the same out here in SD but there just aren't enough DSM'rs with running cars.

Sorry not tryin to but in but im getting frustrated and had to ask...does anyone know where i can get a heat shield fot my headers? They are the stock headers for any 4g63 turbo. I would prefed the nice custom chrome ones but i have searched and searched and cannot find them! Any help please

This is a San Diego, California thread so I'm not exactly sure how you came across posting in here but its cool I supposed. JM Fab made the chrome heat shield but they have recently discontinued manufacturing them because they were being undersold by eBay knock offs and now eBay doesn't even have them. I suggest getting a nice clean un-corroded OEM one from Mach V Motorsports, here is a direct link to it ---> Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield You'll be saving yourself some money too since the JM Fab polished one was obnoxiously expensive.

FYI turbo vehicles don't have headers they've got exhaust manifolds...

Alright guys, i know that 75% of us are not running here in san diego, that goes with the territory, but we should start up that meet again. so for the time being, lets come up with a spot to meet up at that works for everyone, and then after we come up with a spot, then we can start working out the dates.

My pic would be the parking lot at the bay? (im not good with remembering names) where we met up last time, was pretty much middle of San D, and seemed to have enough room... but i know we have some people down south, so some input would be great
