if nito15, rigo, alex, & i are nobody then mike you are 100% right... nobody went to racelegal tonight. ;) JK! i just transfered to shore duty for the next 3 years so i will be in san diego for good for awhile now. no more returning home after 2 weeks with 5 texts from mike asking about TB's and ISC's and TPS's... then a final 6th text asking if im mad because im not responding. haha. im home now mike so text away brotha. anyone have the address to that machine shop that can re-tap the hotside? i stripped one on my BEP housing :banghead: everytime that happens its another $40 mistake. autox on sunday at noon right alex, ill be there with the camera charged! if anyone cleans their car up and wants a few nice pictures it will be a perfect time to do it if its nice out. hopefully i see you guys there! anyone need any aftermarket exhaust parts for a GST pm me!

It looked like a good night to be racing, everyone was putting in run after run. Racelegal needs to get those display towers so spectators can see the trap times and speeds at the end of the track.

aaahahahaha. so you coming down to help install everything at alex house on monday? injectors, wideband, shocks and springs(finally) tune, oh and can you re-wire my fp? LOL
 
I've gotta work Monday and then after I was going to swap on that other hotside so no I can't make it. Sorry. And I will do the rewire once you get a bigger fp... sorry but I'm just wasting my time w/ the stocker in there, u can run more boost...
Ill be at the q with alex @ noon tomorrow, I hope there's a DSM or two there.

So yesterday I saw like 4 dsms within the course of an hour... it was kinda odd. One had a hideous body kit... I would never violate mine like that LOL

did anyone get to see that silver 1g with the 2g body kit, z3 fenders and supra tail lights a few years back? LULZ
 
No... it was ever worse than that. Like from the side I didnt recognize it as a DSM and then I saw the tail lights and I was like doubleyoo tee eff...

I didn't mean it like that XD, you know, sometimes you type and things come out... in any case, I bet your car looks fantastic and not like a transformer who got stuck halfway through (with the doors, hood and hatch closed).

On another note, I'm finding some people telling me to double check if parts will fit my GST SPYDER even if theyre GST parts, anyone know exactly what? The only problems I could really expect would be things going under the back seat or rear fenders since it has the convertible motor and all.

Yeah your right. Like no rear sway bar will fit your car. But like they say, the rear supprot that is already there acts like a strut bar. I believe people say to make sure you buy the right lowering springs. The gsx springs have a higher load capacity due to their heavier weight than the gsx. Even though your car is a gst its heavier than a gst and maybe more than gsx (not sure) so some companies make 3 sets of springs. One for each model, other manufactures just make two sets, where the spyder uses the same kit as gsx due to the weight. just call before ordering.

Its good that you told me this as the next thing I was gonna do was get it lowered XD. I am getting my rims put on sometime this week. I went with the Drifz 505b 18". Gonna be bamf.
 
Those Driftz looks really nice, how wide did u get em? my ### got zum of those in his SRT4, LOL, they are pretty sick but dat foo got em in 7.5 and already curbed rashed them really bad. so sad.

I might show up to racelegal tm but now in my x. Im looking for a 7 bolt 98-99 block. Can't get her running till then.

Use your multimeter to check the lines. Also do you need the schematics for it? I know you prob might know this but do you have the same bulbs in there? Or its proba ground.I can get you the wiring diagram. Come on Corey, shoudln't be too hard.

ive got the wiring diagrams and ive pulled out the DMM on the damn thing already, i think ive got 4 hours under my belt trying to find the short. that first click on the headlight post turns on A LOT of lights and the short could be anywhere... headlight corners, bumper side markers, gauge lights, HVAC lights, & tail lights. it did it after my TT install so im still checking under the dash for a wire i might have pinched but im still :confused: I WILL FIND IT THOUGH, GIVE ME TIME DAMNIT! haha. thanks for the advice but i got this... if dan and i can make a A/T fwd DSM into M/T awd DSM in 3 wks this should be simple right? :barf:

hmmm I haven't seen the wiring diagram yet but the rear lights are connected with the headlights, side markets,hvac gauge lights? I thought its a seperate circuit?

Did pretty bad at the track tonight. Car kept spinning alot off the launch, even on awd. I averaged out to 9.4, best was 9.03. best reaction was .512. best 60 ft time was 2.1, best top speed was 82 mph. Thats pretty much what I was getting before turning up the boost and rev limited, well before it just grabbed and went, but every launch tonight was spinning, felt awesome but sucked at the same time. time to put in the injectors and tune, shocks and springs. Car was bouncing when shifting into 2nd a bunch of times. all my shocks are shot haha. Anyways it was really fun. There was this one guy that had a mirage with 4g63 motor that wanted to race really bad, we did, I was ahead about a car length 3/4 of the race and all of a sudden like a flip of a switch, the last 80 ft just pulls in front of me as if i were standing still. Nice kill bro, damn NOS!
 
9.0 is not bad for the stock injectors. Was that mirage fwd or awd? i know there were 2 of them at the pits, and i think both had 4t63t swaps. I know for sure one is fwd idk about the other one. Where you logging while you did your passes?
