My car is on the road now, someone sabotaged it while I was on vacation the last 10 days.

I jumped in the car to go to work this afternoon and hit the push button start... nothing. All the dash lights were brite so the battery wasn't dead and I was left scratching my head a bit. The car hadn't moved for 10 days and it was locked, what could have happened? I popped the hood and looked through the runners on the IM and every cable going to the starter was hooked up. So I reached under there and pulled the wire going to the starter solenoid (that runs to my push button start) and when I pulled on it the wire and connector kept coming... Someone had cut the wire going to my starter solenoid with a pair of dikes, it was a clean cut. WTF I re-wired it and made my way to work so all is good, just the strangest thing to find after coming home, especially when it was parked inside the gated community that I live at.

Oh so while you were gone corey, I am now moving up to San Marcos on the weekend of the 3rd of Sept... and the coolest thing ever, i get a garage and a fridge with a working ice maker... im so happy about the little things...

I'm out of my apartment on Sept. 15 and I won't be moving back to Point Loma/Ocean Beach to live for free. Lisa broke up with me. JUST KIDDING! Lisa actually got hired at the complex we're currently living at as the Property Manager and she can't live there. I think we'll be moving a bit North (behind Fry's off the 15) into some apartments that too have a garage, it just won't be attached but whatever.

No free rent but she'll be making about $15k more a year so its good for her, I just won't be able to save as much. Dammit.

UPDATE: Hey guys just got in texas about an hour ago, i forgot how hot this place is Lol, anyways heres a pic. the VR4 is holding up pretty well. so far so good =)

wow looks like you guys have a pretty tight nit group in SD. It looks like most of you guys are in the north county area, is that right?

I'm pretty sure i'll be moving in september 10th. It would be cool to meet all you guys and check out some of your cars. I'm pretty excited to be moving down to sd, even if it means being away from my car.

I was thinking it would be cool to get something going on the weekend of the 17th/18th. I'm not familiar with the area, so any suggestions would be great. I'll be living on campus at ucsd so if you guys want to go to the beach at la jolla or something that would be cool.

The star quest club thread is a much easier read. In the project zero g thread I go into every little detail and ramble a bunch. But then again I keep that one up to date on a daily basis, while the star quest club one was made to just get the basic point across to people who were asking about my project.

I WAS PLANNING A AUGUST MEET FOR US AND IM TRYING TO PLAN IT AROUND MY CAR BEING FINISHED SO I CAN ATLEAST DRIVE MY RIDE OUT.
