any one help me out on this? my wife's 1998 gst has no alarm clicker and it has never been a problem until today her alarm goes off every time she unlocks the car any ideas or help i have tried the battery thing and unlocking the door or starting the car but it will not stop resting it self to arm

I know that on 1g's you can disconnect the harness thats on the passenger side behind the panel on the right leg (if there was a passenger sitting there). Im not sure if 2g's have something that can be disconnected. have you done a search yet on this?

The alarm thing happened to me one time too, but the only fix I got for it was to use the remote. Maybe if you leave the battery disconnected for a bit

Not sure what you're talking about (flux capacitor...I'm not doc brown after all...), but no it's not jdm. They come from the Aussies

It happens to me every now and then. Its irritating to have to unlock the car by key to turn the alarm off but I like having it just in case..

The square thingy on top is for a butterfly valve inside the muffler

I did that and not only did it turn it off but it fixed it?? WTF ??? is that like some kinda alarm turn off or disable switch?

not sure exactly. But when my gray car was alive and well I had the same issue. its not just a spyder thing apparently.

haha sir i found two 1g's with complete motors and one is an 89 with everything including my a new eprom ecu, 14b and 1gbov with hood good haul thank you for the motivation. gonna pull the motor and buy when half off

Currently thinkingabout wiring the stock fan back into the car on the driver side
