Any 1G with Power Sunroof?

did any 1g T/E/L ever come with power sunroof? has anyone done a power sunroof to their car? if u do have a power sunroof can u show pics? of the brackets? how they mounted it?

yes! my laser actually has a power sunroof in it. so evidently they came stock.

I have heard of them before but nobody has ever been able to provide any info/pics on them. I would like to know about this as well

Interesting. I'd think it must be dealer-installed, or aftermarket. My vast DSM library shows no mention of 1G sunroofs that are powered.

I have seen other 1G sunroofs that are obviously dealer-installed, but this is the first spotting of a powered one. Very cool.

I'm not sure if it may be dealer installed or not. If it is its a pretty nice unit, looks completely stock. When I first bought the car, it was stuck open a little bit but with a little lube and tightening of a couple of screws its good as new. Wow I have a rare car, .

My car was built in 1989 dubbed 1990, Its an Eagle Talon TSI AWD, I will take pics of my factory power sunroof, all the wiring and the brackets, if it helps I will disassemble the whole deal again and take individual pics of it all so you all can see the layout and design of the mounting brackets and hwere the motor is, Give me a day or so b/c I have been busy but PM me and I will be glad to email anyone that is curious pics of the sunroof

i have a 91 talon tsi fwd how hard would it be to install one inplace of my nonpower unit and wheres a good place to get one that will fit right. oh and where is the control mounted at for it dash or console?

I have never heard/seen of a 1g coming stock from the factory with a power sunroof. the book that comes with the car also does not mention "power sun roof if so equipped" i would be willing to bet any 1g with a power one had it installed.

and of course it looks stock, no GOOD custom shop or sunroof installation place is going to make it look shi++y or people wouldnt pay for the work....


unless you have 100% proof its original, i dont buy it
