I Need Help With Power Sunroof Sliding Sun Shade

Has anyone ever removed the manual sliding sunshade from the power sunroof before.Mine has a sag in the headliner on it and I need to get it off to make repairs.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks,Dano

Yea, I've had mine out for awhile now. If you're asking how to take them out, read on.

1. Crack your sunroof, but don't make it go back all the way.

2. Start sliding the shades, with your hands on the inside while looking at it from the top.

3. You see any springs there? Those are OEM springs by Mitsubishi. Don't lose them, they're 5 bucks a piece from mitsubishiparts.com, not including the plastic with them.

4. Get a flat blade screwdriver and push the spring mechanism plastic part back until it pops out.

5. Do this to all of them. There should be four.
