Anti Lock light - buzzing/hissing noise

Hello Everyone:

I've taken a few years off from the dsm family, but couldn't stay away and have just picked up a 97' gst.

Anyway, I've had it for about a week. And last time while driving the anti lock light came on. When I pulled over, shut off the car to check it out, there was a noise coming from the front driver portion of the engine bay/wheel well.

I wasn't able to find anyone on this site that has had this problem with this type of noise. I've since reset the ecu and the noise has ceased. Does anyone know what this could have been?

Believe its the ABS relay. It gets stuck open. I have the same problem. Pull the ABS fuse or it will drain the battery (if it happens again that is).

So you've actually heard this noise as well?

Yeah its like a loud buzzing.
