Another problem - check engine light diag

Ok so i pulled out the pedal assy to have it welded and put it back in, hooked everything back up and now the car runs like crap at idle, its missfireing but if you get the rpms up to about 5k it runs good, also the check engine light came on so how do i find out wtf it is?????? Please help asap

Take it to a local AutoZone or Advance Auto and have them read the code.

For some strange reason it stoped doing it after i drove it again and the check engine light is out now!?!?!? Damn Dsm's

And by the way i dont think my car is OBD-II
