So alice is a awd .... thinkin bout takin out the awd part and convertin it to fwd .... I never drove it and a lot more powers gonna be goin through her I don't realy wanna upgrade the rear carier or ne thing so should I just pound it till it blows the gears out or just take it out now

If you really want to take everything out, Ill trade you my rear subframe/gas tank/ 80k mile fwd tranny/ and axles + cash for your AWD tranny, t-case, driveshaft, gas tank, subframe, rear diff., and axles.

Idk why you would do this...When you could just pull out your rear diff and axles, driveshaft, and just weld your center diff. on your awd tranny...I know tons of people that are FWD and use AWD trannies for the gearing and for future components swap.

to start,there is nothing wrong with a fwd dsm,i went awd from fwd and wound up going back to fwd,learn to dial in your car off the line and you will do fine.rolling,forget it its the fwd with the big advantage,dont get me wrong i did love my awd but for a streetable high hp car,the fwd is a better way to go...if you already have a built tranny,then the change for you is easy,but if you do not have a good tranny then you might as well stay awd.its always easier to go fwd from awd then the other way around....either way good luck with your decision and have fun...
