Another clutch question

i took my transmission out today and found pieces of clutch in the transmission just curious if i should be worried that something else caused this or just a new clutch will be fine and also do i need to re adjust the clutch pedal after the install and if so how do i adjust the pedal

if its an old clutch then it may be due to it being so worn..... if theres no damage to the tranny of flywheel then you should be good...!!
