Another charcoal canister question!

Hey guys I'm removing my charcoal canister just now do I absolutely have to block the EGR?
I'm just tring do relocate my battery lower.

Get a egr block off plate, easy and cheap, done.

If you dont have to worry about emissions and a check engine light then go ahead and do it. I lowered my battery but had already had the block off plate on my EGR.

Yeah well thing is I don't have the block off plate and I don't want deal with the CEL later oh well I guess battery relocation canceled... for now
And yes we do have emissions checks down here!

If your CEL is always going to be on & it bothers you that much, you should pull the gauges out & remove the bulb out.

As far as charcoal canister removal, just leave the solenoid plugged in. I've had mine out to make way for an oil cooler for ages now. No CEL.

That's probably the worst advice I've ever seen..
