I’ve tried googling this with no direct answers or I’m wording it wrong. so if their is 100 threads on this I’m sorry. At idle the car won’t do it, if I rev it up the car won’t do it, but if I’m in gear rolling and give it gas the accessories belts make squealing noises. the belts look good they feel tight I’m not sure how to tell if it’s to tight, but they are definitely tight. so would this mean it’s one of the pulleys? Can I spray wd40 in it to help? I’ve never had a car do this believe it or not that it wasn’t just a loose belt.

I had a similar issue up until it stopped suddenly because the alternator pulley completely froze burned the belt completely off LOL. I just replaced the alternator. The bearings in the alternator shaft went bad. Look for expelled grease around the pulley shaft maybe remove the belt and spin the pulley by hand and see how much resistance you get, I would check the power steer pulley shaft the same way too.

You can try pulling one belt off at a time and try to isolate it that way. Just don't leave it running too long without the alternator/wp belt.
That’s a good idea I’ll probably do that on my days off . Unfortunately I think it’s missing one of the bolts to tension the belt is their a vendor on here that I could purchase such a thing from before I look else where?

That's common as well and that's probably why it's making noise. You should be able to find that bolt either from another member or just get a generic bolt (not sure what grade that is).

To correctly set tension for the alternator, loosen the short bolt & the bolt on the other side of the alternator. Then tighten the long bolt (the one you're missing). Once you set the tension, tighten the shorter bolt & the one on the other side.

It should look like this. And the yellow arrow points the other bolt for pivoting the alternator.

Glad you found the bolt. Pretty sure you still have the pivot bolt. Don't think the alternator would stay in place if it wasn't. You'll see a bracket off the block that guides the alt as it pivots. That shorter bolt wedges the alternator to the bracket.
