Who else removed the crash beam behind the front bumper?

I think, if you want to keep your cross beam. This is the easiest solution and cost much less than fmic. No modifications required. matter of fact this is whats going to be my next choice in intercooler systems.
at $270-299, they come with complete installation. Can handle 600hp.
Water to Air Intercooler
And you are planning on running this on a street car? Do you know what your average engine coolant temps are? Usually around 180-over 200. You want that "cooling" your intake charge? I'll stick with my air to air intercooler.

The crash bar doesn't add to the safety of the car much at all. It is part of the 5mph bumper system that keeps the car from being totaled in a small parking lot fender bender.

What are you talking about, there is a sepreate radiator in a w2a setup that has nothing at all to do with the engine coolant.
It is still a poor DD setup.
In all liquid to air setups I've seen before, yes. But the one he posted looks like it is connected to the engine radiator and uses the same coolant. Look at the link he posted.
"Including a high performance water to air intercooler core, a pump, and a radiator (heat exchanger) with fan custom designed for water to air intercooler applications, this kit offers extraordinary value"
Taken from their site.
They include that radiator , it is additional/separate to your engine radiator, yes.
I see. Well forget my comment about engine coolant temps. I'll still stick with my air to air intercooler.
Haha as will I. No additional complications to go wrong. It still be neat to get the remote tank and run ice/water, or alcohol/dry ice and get some retardly low intake temps.
You just totally contradicted yourself.
Its not really for safety per say, it's more to save the motor/tranny from being damaged in slow speed parking lot style bumps, other than that it's pretty much useless as anything at a higher speed it compacting like the rest of your car would
