For a while I've been having issues with my alternator. I replaced it back in Novemeber because it totally went, regulator went and voltage went really high. I replaced it and it was ok. For while now, I've been getting a check engline light for "P1500 Generator FR Terminal Circuit Malfunction". I also ahve been having low voltage issues where when I'm idling the voltage will go to the very low 12's. I have a computer connceted to a power inverter and sometimes because of the low power the inverter will turn off making the computer turn off. I put a new alternator (even go tthe canadian one) and nothing is dfferent. When I drove the car back home I was about to make a turn and I took my foot off the the clutch, the rpm's dropped, and my computer turned off. When the car is running, is it always supposed to be at around 13.8? Because mine never is, it always starts out like that when you first start the car from a cold start, but then it drops after a few minutes.. sometimes to even 12.3.. The wiring for the alternator looked fine, everthing was tight too. What should I be checking?
