Alternator Interchangeability?

Alright. I have a 91 gsx. I have another thread that talks about this but is way off topic. So I thought i would just ask here. My stock alternator is shot from power steering fluid, and I need another one. Since I can't seem to find a 90 amp that says it fits my car, I was wondering what year cars use the same alternator my 91 gsx does. There is probably a thread about this already, but I did some searching and can't seem to find one. So could you point me to another thread, or just answer it.

Any 1g (90-94) is interchangeable. 2g (95-99) can be made to work but the electrical connector is different, so you'd need to splice in a 2g plug into your wiring.

Yes that will fit a 1G, it has the same plug. Good find, it's 90 amp.

I'm sorry, nothing against you, I just need to hear from some others that it fits. If it does fit, I'm glad you showed me this because it is a great price.
