i removed my old alt about a week ago and am in the process of installing the new one, i have a blue and white wire though that im not sure where it goes....pretty sure its the ground for the radio or something...but i cant find where its supposed to connect to the alternator

I'm not sure how good i will be at explaining this, but I'll try.

Not sure which wire you are talking about, but theres a screw that holds wires on that wasn't on my new alternator when i reaplced it, and noticed it by holding the two next to eachother and noticed the old one had a pin like thing sticking out of it and the new one didn't but it had the slot for it. I just took it off the old one and put it on the new.

take a look at botha nd see if you are missing anything......

I really can't picture this very well and I don't know if the 2G is the same, but...

If it's a small wire it may be for one of your oil pressure sensors (on a 1G both are located right by the alternator).
