My 1997 Mitsubishi eclipse 2.0 non turbo with a five speed manual transmission had a bad clutch. I replaced the clutch and the same problems occurred shortly after driving.. do I need to align an all-in-one clutch that's pretty assembled? If so how do you do that?

What problems are you having with the clutch. If you replaced the clutch with a modular unit, the flywheel aligns the unit to the crank. You can not use an alignment tool on these.

Your talking about the 4 bolts that connect the clutch assembly to the flex-plate? do you have then all torqued down and are you using the correct bolts?
Could your flexplate have been cracked/broken and you didnt notice it?
Its hard to say without seeing it.

I have done a fuuck load of 2gnt clutches and the only time i have ever seen a bolt hit any thing is when you turn the flexplate and one of the 4 bolts isnt turned in far enough.

It is possible ... I bought identical bolts so I don't think that's the problem they may not have been torqued enough its just really hard to torque from under the car with very little space
