Hey guys im planning on a set of wheels but I cant find the lug pattern measurement for my car its a base model laser....Can anyone help please????

[ALL DSMs use a 5-lug, 114.3mm or 4½" bolt circle.
The stud thread is 12x1.5mm

i got a set of 20 from auto zone and it costed me $31 including tax... so u might want to check other places before u go and spend 50...

You need 12x1.5 tuner style lugs because standard locking lugs will not fit into the lug nut hole. A lot of enkei wheels need their own special lug nuts but I dont think the rs-6 does. Might want to call enkei or discount tire and ask them.

92awddsm- you're right. I forgot to mention that too, the guy at the shop told me that some Enikei's need their own special lugs ($100!!!) but the RS6's are not one on those :D Whew. But even then $50 is too much.

I'm hearing a lot of 12x1.5 so I'm pretty sure that's the size I need- I'll be looking on e-bay and the other sites Defiant mentioned to see what I can dig up.

I did also go to Napa to see what they could do for me but they don't have anything that would work with those rims......maybe he thought they needed some of those special lugs, I dunno.

I spent a few years working at a custom wheel shop. Thats the only reason I knew that off of the top of my head.

EDIT: I had to get tuner lugs for my rota subzeros so i went to a wheel shop and got them for $25. All 20 are locks and the key is used on all of them. They are like the spline drive just a lot cheaper.

yeah make sure they have an "acorn" style seat on the tuner lugs some of them i have seen have ball seat which doesn't taper in the end or else you'll have a loose wheel. and i agree with the hub centric rings they make you're wheel sit flush against the hub :thumb:

Thanks for all the help guys. I bought some lugs from ebay for $15.99, they are acorn style, chrome, and 12x1.5 . They look pretty descent and it was from a guy who seems to sell these lugs all the time. So within a few days from now I should get them and I'll let you know if they fit or not.

Thanks again.

ok 1) i already did a search and found nothing.

2) i got a dsm with rims already....and im trying to sell the rims....and someone asked what the bolt ratio is....and i have no clue so someone help me out

3) its a 92 eclipse 1.8

4) the rims are 17" primax racing rims i know nothing else

Hey guys. I just wanted to let you all know that the 12x1.5 were the correct size lugs and they fit really well, so thanks for all the help again.

The locking lugs that I have, however, are a pain in the ass to get on my car b/c the hole in the Enkei's are pretty small and the key with the lug barley fir in there. It took my about an hour to get all four wheels on :thumbdown

Also, the wrench that I use (is the stock one) works with the key, but it rubs on the rim and leaves a circlular sctrach on the rim where it rubs  This only happend a few times but it still makes me angry b/c I have a few new scratches on them. Is there an extension of some sort to go on the key or perhaps on the wrench so this doesn't happen again?

If this description doesn't make sense let me know I'll explain it in a different way. Thanks again guys!

Let's see a pic of the locking lug wrench you have.

why buy locking lugs in the first place? They are some of the easiest things to defeat, you just put a slightly large socket on there, whap whap whap witha hammer, and take them off like any other nut.

Usually the sound of a banging hammer gives it away...

Hahaha......that hammer sound can be quite the give away. Anyway, you buy locking lugs as a theft deturrent. If someone REALLY wants to steel my rims then at least I'm gonna make then work for it a bit. Not to mention the alarm that would draw a lot of attention too if they tried. :talon:

this might be a stupid question but what is the bolt pattern for a eclipse, 1st gen to be more specific, some dude wants to buy my wheels but im not sure what the bolt pattern is and if it will fit his s2000. thanks.

I was wondering what is the exact lug set and offset for the eclipse i have the RS but im sure there all the same pattern i had 18inch sokudo's that were 100/114.3 but didnt fit for some odd reason so im wondering if the offset was the problem, can someone give me the exact rim size. Thanks
