So my current setup right now is basically stock except for an evo 3 16g turbo running on stock boost and a manual boost control. I was looking to get an air intake with a K&N FPIK. But i dont know which intake to get with the size and all since i believe the inlet for the e316g is 2". Can i get some help as to which intake to get and its size?

i'v ran 26psi on a stock 2g intake tube with k&n. wait until you go speed density or bigger turbo and than worry about a proper intake. You honestly won't gain that much power.

You won't really gain anything from the intake pipe. The biggest difference is getting rid of the very restrictive air box with a cone filter but if you must I have an item but its not cheap. If you ever plan to go bigger then get a fp intake.

I would not run the fp intake on anything smaller than a green/71 sized compressor cover. it has been proven to actually loose hp due to the coupler causing turbulence

That's why I said if he went bigger. Not to many turbos bigger the a 16g still use the same size intake. Yes it does make you loose hp on a turbo the size of a 16g but its not gonna make you loose 10-15 hp. There's no point in buying an intake twice if he was gonna :thumb:
