air/fuel controller

how well would a air/fuel controller be for my N/t Laser? the only mods i have is a K&N Filter with air can gone and new 2 1/4" exhaust. But, it seems like my car is running rich. I would be able to tune my air/fuel to what I want right?

there is different opinions on this subject. some say it will do jack shit, others say it can do some good, even on a completely stock engine. i think it would help some, since you would actually be tuning for performance, and not for economy like its set for. i am gettting one soon, and if moneys not an issue, the i think you should too

yes a afc is a helpful tool. I want to get one, i am running rich and i feel like im robbed of hp . Our cars run rich from the factory, modding it (depends on what) just makes it richer (if that makes sense, i really am not a dumbass ) But yea you can expect some gains from the afc

PS you can pick a brand new apex'i afc-II of ebay for 285 shipped, or just find one from the classifieds.

you should see gains from it, if properly tuned. but damage could occur if not properly tuned. i say get it
