Aftermarket radiator with stock fans ? CxRacing, Mishimoto...

I'm about to change my radiator and I need to know if an Aftermarket radiator with support the stock fans ? CxRacing or Mishimoto for example...

If not, will the unshrouded slim ones work well ?

No kidding, thanks for raining on my parade jk. Its been 6 weeks since ive seen the engine in, my memory is foggy.That looks real tight in there. Well, ill be trimmin into the wee hours or ill be buying a slim fan. But damnit, she is going to run tomorrow or saturday!

It does look thicker but the problem will be the widgets that sticks out for the fans to mount on.
Stock rad on top. Mishi on bottom.

i also have the mishimoto radiator and it works great with my ss autochrome front mount. The only thing i had to do was cut part of the housing for the passenger side due to the fact that i had to make a custom intake to go with my type r bov. it flows real good.

Aluminum radiators are usually, for the most part, thicker than OEM units. This added length puts the stock shroud even closer to the manifold, those of us running the FP manifold will have to get slim fans, unless you like your fans melted.

Just installed a pte 5858, stock 2g mani, stock o2, internally gated, and stock fans and radiator with a PR fmic. Everything fit very well. Much better than i expected. Passenger fan had to be cut up pretty good though. The wg actuator actually hit the tips of the fan blades. I wanted to drive it so out came the dremel! (I have an extra 3 passenger fans btw ) I chopped the tips slightly off on all 5 blades, temps under control. Seems to work just fine, but when summer comes around i think ill be adding a pusher on the other side or going mishimoto. With the stock tstat it idles at 210 degress. Not sure if a lower temp tsat would really even help though.
