2G 1g radiator with stock 2g fans?

I have a 1g mishimoto rad I want to put in my 2g. I am well aware that plugs are different and its not a drop in install. But my question is has anyone put the stock 2g fans on a 1g rad? I know everyone is going to tell me to get slim fans but I am trying to use my stock fans in my 2g. Im not sure if people on here has made or found a way to get it to work.

The upper and lower hoses are different ( if that what your refering to plugs ) and the upper brackets are different ... and the lower mounting points maybe different .. but since you have the rad ..You should just go ahead and start putting it in .... I am sure the community here ( atleast I would with ideas along the way ) to overcome any issues. That would be cool to see and how it works with the factory fans.

You have the radiator and the fans right? Should be easy to figure out. If anything, a tape measure should give you some reasonable confidence. Here's a link to a similar dilemma (found via a google search) which would give insight.

It fits with no issue that's what I was running for a long time. 1g rad with the 1g upper coolant hose the bottom hose stays the same. Radiator mounts the same as 2g with same radiator mounts. May need a little rigging to mount the fans but nothing to wild. Some of the mounting holes line worst case Redrill new holes
