OK so this is probably stupid question but I'm going to ask anyways. I received my 2 row radiator today and as a result of the radiator being fatter the main fan doesn't fit. So for my question, I do not have a/c so will the a/c fan pull enough air to keep everything cool if I were to put it in place of the main fan?

I ran the AC fan in place of the main fan for over a year without issues. It's all about how healthy your cooling system is and well air can flow through the radiator.

The AC fan will take a little modification to one of the mounting arms to work on the main side though. Otherwise it'll drop right in place and plug in to the main fan wiring harness.

That's great to hear! What modification did you have to do?

You can pick up a cheap mishimoto slim fan and universal mount kit for around 70 bucks. The nice thing is you can mount it on the back side of the radiator and use it as a push style if you reverse the wiring.

I plan on purchasing a slim fan but as for right now the radiator has wiped me out so I need free. And on top of that I need my car back tomorrow.

Just make sure you do not overheat the engine with out a fan. You can run the heat on to help cool if you get worried.

Have to see how it goes my car with 2 slim fans in puller style would still overheat but i am also running a huge 3.5in thick intercooler too so i am rocking a stock fan and a slim pusher style with cooler T stat and water wetter. No issues now.

I'd put money on the stock AC fan alone flowing more air than a pair of cheap slim fans. Like I said, I ran just an AC fan daily for over a year without any issues at all. I also had a 3" thick PR core, stock 4g64 radiator, and zero cooling mods whatsoever making over 550hp. Coolant temps were in the 200* range until I cut a hole in the hood, and then they dropped to 180* on average.

The only modification needed is bending one of the lower mounting tabs. Takes 10 seconds with a pair of pliers.
