Aftermarket Oil Sending Unit

I'm missing the line going to the oil sending unit (who knows what they did with it) and planned on getting a pod and put boost, watertemp, and oil pressure in it. The sending unit (electrical) is 1/8 NPT. What thread is our factory sensor? Thanks in advance guys!

1/8 bnpt. Its not the same thread but you can just thread it in there.. just be careful and make sure you start it straight.. Make sure you aren't leaking afterwards..

BSPT right? Teflon or thread sealer on the threads? Thanks for the quick response!

ya my bad .. You can use teflon but pipe thread is tappered so it really doesn't need any type of sealer.. As the threads go deeper into the ofh the threads start to get shorter if that makes sense

Yeah, I'm familiar with NPT, but never heard of BSPT to be honest, never used it.

Also be sure when you install it to NOT over tighten it, as you will crack the housing. Believe me, I just got done welding up my cracked housing from this exact thing.

You could go the safe route and buy this guy: Pegasus - Female 1/8 NPT to Male 1/8 BSPT Fitting.
