Oil sending unit??

While attaching my SS oil supply line to the oil filter housing, I had to undo a device. It is one wire attached to a larger nut by a small screw. Of course i lost the small screw.
Is this the oil pressure sending unit? or something else. Just need to know so I can get a replacement screw.
