I have read a few old and new threads about experiences using an aftermarket oil pump. I'm considering purchasing an aftermarket pump ITR 6Bolt Oil Pump. Can you guys please share your past or current experiences using an aftermarket pump vs OEM.

Just a heads up on my current plan, I will be using OEM straight gears, OEM Seals and Gaskets, and Balance shafts. I'm going to be making between 400 - 500hp. Basically, my only concern is the casing holding up. Thanks!

I run ACL oil pumps (helical cut gears) on my 6 bolts (both at your level or more) and the 7 bolts I build. Never had a problem with them and I twist those motors hard (8800-9200). 80-85psi cold, 17psi hot idle.
I did a comparison between an Ebay pump and the ACL 6 bolt pumps in a thread located HERE, I'm not sure it will help you in your decision but worth looking at.
