2G Aftermarket headlights question

So i bought thiese headlights with angel eyes but how do i wire the LED angel eyes? I can see it has a two wires coming out for it as you see at the top corner of the headlight a tiny red and black one

Typically red is power, black is ground.. you can test that by just hooking the wires up to 12v and see if the halos turn on.

Once you verify that it works, you can wire them into your parking lights or however you like.

Alright yea just didnt know where to wire them but ill wire them to the park lights thanks alot.

Where you wire them is really dependant on when you want them on. Parking lights is an easy method, you can also do standalone wiring for them and a dedicated switch just for the halos.. personal preference really

mmm those are the spyder headlights. Those wires should already be connected to the female plug. All you have to do is plug them in to your original headlights plug and they will run

Having that been said they are cheap for a reason and that's because the halo is not an LED but an incandescent bulb. The halos are barely noticeable during the day and at night, well, you have your headlights on I hope. I had those on my car for a time but switched back to the OEM blacked out eclipse headlights because I can't stand chrome.

You can also try to change the bulb to an LED if you prefer. I can't remember the bulb size off the top of my head but it isn't easy accessing them

Also I have a canadian market DSM with the DRL relay did the European DSMs also come with the DRL relay? Just curious it doesn't really pertain to the headlights

I have those headlight too, I had to harvest the wiring harness from the factory headlights and just wired halo power to my headlights
The halos were not even noticable with the headlights on but if you want the halo's for visual effect you'll want to wire them separate from the headlights, maybe to your parklights
Also installed LED park/turn signals which then didn't pull enough current for the blinker circuit to operate correctly
Had to buy some plug in resistor packs with matching wiring plugs for plug and play
The turn signal will fast blink with the LED like you have a turn signal bulb that is out without the resistor inline
The lights worked great but it was a bit of a bear to change out the light assembly, not sure who designed the eclipse headlight mounting but it was a pain unless your bumper is off

What do you mean by the spyder headlights is there any diffrence and also i didnt see no relay

My bumper is off luckely and yea was thinking of wiring it to the park lights as i mostly drive using the park lights

spyder is the brand that makes them not to be confused with the convertible version of our car.

Also not even sure how you can swap headlights without taking the bumper off as the 3rd bolt sits under the bumper support beam. Taking off the front bumper the first time is kind of a pain. Once you neglect to install unimportant bolts the second time makes bumper removal take all of 5 minutes.

Also that relay with your bumper off would sit on the driver side in front of the wheel well behind the horn. It is an aluminum box with wires running in it. When I turn my car on my high beams are always running at half power unless I flip to low beams

Ahh alright then im with you. Yea when taking the bumper off almost every bolt just broken on me when removing the bolts had to drill them out and make new threads

Use a Digital Flasher, it is basically a timer. That is what I have in my 92 Talon with LED park/turn lights. It is a steady flash and doesn't care what it is hooked up to.
