i bought a pace setter header off e-bay and it didnt come with the mid pipe (the pipe between the downpipe and cat.) does any one have one they wanna sell or can anyone make one? they told me at the muffler shops if would cost around 250 - 300 bucks to get one made from scratch and labor. :notgood: any ideas on what to do? this is for a 1G NT

Go to meineke or something. That doesnt sound right. When i brought my car to the shop around me they said they could do a whole downpipe for $60 bux. Id say i have what your looking for, but i forgot that i cut that piece in half :notgood:

There's probably no midpipe because like me, they didn't like the balljoint and had a muffler shop put a flexpipe in. I highly recommend a flexpipe.

That price is way to much, it's easy to fabricate it.
The most you should pay is around
$60-flexpipe
$15-2.5"pipe
$10-flange

Try another shop. Call around.

ive called around and they all pretty much tell me the same thing, that its in a bad spot to try and weld and messure things up, and if they took it off the car then it probley wouldnt line up when they put it back on. ive even bought some extra piping and a flex section to try and lower the cost.
