I just built my new motor and installed it. I also completely rewired/ rerouted my engine wire harness. The car started up and everything works except my tach. Exactly which wire does the PCM use to figure out engine speed and/or what else should i check.

I know on 1Gs theres a wired connector that is right around the intake mani on the fire wall that sends the tach signal. I'm not sure about 2Gs though; it'd be something to look for. :talon:

Maybe the white wire from the ignition power transistor to the ECM C58?

Anyone? I guess ill start checking all my ignition wires for high resistance and hopefully find out whats going on.
