I need help. My friend car is skipping. Could it be a boost leak? Also the Air fuel ratio gauge moves all over the place. Would the o2 sensor be bad if it moves all over. I am trying to figure out to set stock boost on it. I turned the boost controller all the way down. Would that set stock boost in terms of the car having a turbonetics external waste gate? Thanks, austin.

we put a another turbo on there and it worked great. I told my friend to turn down the turbo XS boost controller all the way down to be safe that it wasnt boosting a lot more than what is safe

I dont understand how and why this all worked then if there was a leak in your bov and you had bad plug wires. Just wondering. :|

The Spark plug wires were not bad we just put mine on there to make sure the plug wires were not the problem. For the boost leak, the previous owner had the flange welded and had a the boost leaks. The previous owner must have turned up the boost controller thinking that he thought it would run better. The turbo was an XS power. That is a turbo known to go bad quickly. So the turbo had blown.
