After market Cam Gears

I recently bought new adjustable cam gears for my 98 eclipse gst and I have searched and cannot find any information on why they are different than the stock cam gears. The new cam gears have a smaller pinhole and the timing marks are vertical from the pinhole instead of horizontal. With the pinhole being smaller do I press them on by tightening the bolts? And with the timing marks being vertical how do I get my timing marks lined up and get my car in timing? Thank you any help is appreciated!
