after market 1g manifold

why replace the 1g manifold? now is the time to UPGRADE your manifold.

either:
2g manifold [ ported or not ]
SBR cast manifold
evo 3 manifold

all will outflow your stock 1g

agreed, I'd go with a ported 2G exh. manifold

Don't get another 1G, instead see if they sell a 2G manifold. If not buy a 2G manifold. They rarely crack.

I bought a new aftermarket 1g manifold for $100. A year later when I was changing my turbo I discovered the manifold was actually crumbling to pieces It practically fell off the engine block! Luckiy the used stock turbo I bought had a factory orig. 1g manifold attatched to it which already has outlasted the aftermarket pos by 2-1/2 times. I priced a new 2g from Tallahassee Mitsu about 6 mths ago -- $152 with the club dsm discount.

buy this and do the port work yourself for free

or buy a used 2g mani for <100. sure beats a 1g for a 100 bucks
