I have a zeitronix wideband in my car and im having problems tuning it. Above 5k
rpm, the afr starts to climb from 11.5 all way up to 13 OMG. This happens
weather the hi throttle on the afc at 5K-7K is 0 or +50. It doesnt
seem to make any difference. Im pretty sure the afc is hooked up
correctly.. at idle, bringing down the low throttle will result in the
car stuttering and ready to stall.

The car is a 1g with PTE 61 turbo, pte 680 injectors and supra fuel
pump. Also, its -6 lines from the pump to the rail with an earls -6
fuel filter. Base fuel pressure is 42psi and the car is currently only
running 10lbs of boost. ECU caps have been replaced previously.

I think im going to extend the fuel pressure gauge to the cockpit so I
can make sure fuel isnt dropping off at 5k. Other than that, I could
try swapping out the AFC with someone elses. Anyone got any other
ideas?

thanks in advance,

ive had this problem before, and it ended up being my fuel pump pickup "sock" was clogged and old, switched that out and the fuel pump got quiet again (it was alot louder before) and the car pulled to 8/8.5 with ease, when before at 5k it would start falling on its face...then besides that, check your fuel filter
