Afr 22.4

My Innovative Mtx-l has been displaying a afr 22.4 and also appears to have a slight misfire and vacuum stays about 12hg. i have replaced my plugs and wires also this is a new replacement wideband. from what i understand my afr should never read 22.4 and i have no idea where to start

I see no cams in your profile, your should be over 16 for vacume .Sounds like you have a vac leak that needs to be fixed.

Then your afr needs to be addressed.

stock head and block. as soon as i start putting air on my tester i can hear air hissing from the TB area. i have brand new shaft seals already but i cant seem to find the leak

If you don't install the seals properly they will leak every time. So make sure they aren't pinched some guys put rtv too. Search the threads and you will find what I'm talking about.

You also need to run those 700s on the pressure the manufacturer reccomends.

from all the threads i have read it appears i installed them properly, i tried 3 new sets of shaft seals with no luck. 700s? im not sure what you mean by this? are you talking about my air compressor?

I see you revamped your mods and took the 700s off since making that post.So the fuel pressure is then 43.5 to make the 450s flow 450.Stock should be 38ish and not flowing 450 ccs of fuel..Make the correction and adjust from there.

But then your still on a 255 and stock injectors tho.

i never did have that listed on my mods list.. strange. anyhoo know i see what your talking about. that is correct with an aeromotive a1000 regulator and yes the pressure has been set properly.
