Hey guys, I just got my fuel/turbo setup installed. I have 550's Big 16g 190 fp afc and the normal stuff. The problem im having is that i have the afc at around -4 accross the board for the hi's. At WOT my 02's go to 1.00 my stft goes to 0 and my timing drops to a miserable 8 degrees throughout the gear with no advance. If I keep flooring it in 3rd to tune and it keeps going to 8 degree will i break it??? I was thinking it was doing that because it was 2 rich but i wanted to richen the car up to like +10 just to experiment and see what my timing did.....im just worried that ill break something. Thanks guys

Don't bother logging STFT during WOT tuning, you only set the STFT while idling. For WOT tuning log RPM-timing and front O2 for now thats all you need even though O2 values are almost unreliable for tuning, they can give a rough idea where you are at.

so then the fact that im rich is causing my timing to sit at 8 degrees.........i mean i guess i know the answers because ive read all the threads ...but im afriad that if i lean it out ill blow up...whats the best way to go about doin this since my timing is already at 8 going richer would only hurt me so i guess ill go lean and just hope i dont blow the car sky high? LOL

thanks any suggestions on how to go about doin this would be great =)

just lean it out a little at a time till you notice your timing is starting to go up...then you know you're gettin close Just dont go too lean all at once ...
