Hey everyone! I’m going to start this build thread for my Evo, little back story of how we got here. As some of you know I used to have a monarch green 99 GSX it ran a best of 11.1 at 133mph on an HX40 at 40psi, and later had a setup changed to a 6466 at 40psi, the car was running great, tuned by me on E85 car was a monster that I had been building since 2011, a few years later, its 2016 and after using a new billet oil filter for the first time, 200 miles passed and during a pull on the highway the oil filter spun off, lost oil pressure and the motor was done for. Fast forward 3 years and the car had been stripped and parted out, and sold to a fellow DSMer who drove from kentucky to Arizona to pick up the first DSM I had ever owned.
May 2019 I find a wicked white Evo9 MR for sale in long beach california with a clean title, clean carfax, reasonably priced, and 114k miles. I rent a Uhaul box truck and take the 6 hr one way trip from scottsdale to long beach. Needless to say, the car checked out and ended up driving it 400 miles home without issue.

This car is now the Archer Fab Shop Evo! This car will be the showcase of the products I make and serve as an R&D platform for future parts! The car came with a stock block, ARP head studs, stock turbo and a 6 speed transmission (yuck)and an otherwise stock evo9. a few months pass and some routine maintenance and the parts start going on. The goal for this car currently is to see how far the stock block can go. We have been fortunate enough to receive an FP RED with the new UHF Turbine and im very excited to see the results on what this new FP turbo is capable of!
For Engine management, im using AEM infinity 506 ECU, after messing with inferior ECUFLASH , and not being able to use ECMLINK on my evo (mivec) it was a no brainer. The car will be tuned by me, with The Remote help of Desmond at Performance Destination in Orlando FL.
The goals:
Fastest Stock block evo on the west coast is currently 9.90 @ 140 mph in the 1/4, owned by Charles, and recently the motor let go. it may not be any STM 9.4 stock block but meeting or beating that is my first goal for the car! After we achieve that we will see what happens! And if we blow it up before we get there, expect to see a 800-1000whp build heres some pictures of the car below.

Full 3” Stainless Vband exhaust
3” Vband stock style o2 housing with wastegate dump
2.5” Stainless intercooler piping (working on 3” titanium pie cut now)
3” Stainless Intake (working on 4” Titanium pie cut now)
AF Billet Series Stock Replacement Turbo Manifold
Small battery mount bracket

No I’m not really a fan of those, they didn’t come on mine from the factory so I’ll leave em off

Just got some new turbo goodness for the Evo! New Forced Performance Red With UHF turbine which will be mounted to an AF Billet Series Manifold! This is the First UHF red out right now, anxious to see how it performs!
