AEM EMS v.1 ser. 2

I am in the market for a standalone. I was going to go ecmlink v3 full but i found a good deal on aem v1 ser. 2. I still might go ecmlink depending on the answer to my question..........

Is there a static way to check an AEM EMS v1 ecu? static as is in not installed , to be sure it works?

I have just started a full wire tuck and fuse box relocation so i can not just plug in and test out when I get it. I need a idk "static" to way to test if you wanna put it that way.

Id go with ECMlink. Its a tried and true system that has a huge following.

The AEM will most likely be much more complicated to use and does not have the community support that Link does.

yup ty for your input. I decided to go with li nk. I do not want to send 500 buks for a used aem that might not work when i can have link brand new for not too much more.

ECM link can do what Aem can but a lot easier to use.
