Ems series 1 or 2?

I paid 1000$ to somebody on here for what was supposed to be an aem ems v2. When I got it last week I instantly noticed that it didn't say "series 2" on it. I think it could possibly be a let model series 1 that came black. There's no serial numbers that I can find either. The dude who I bought it from is positive that its a v2 but I'm still not convinced.
Doesn't the series 2 have a USB port on the box?
The ecu he sold me only has the older style rectangle plug (with 9 pinholes) on the right side of the ems.

This is a series 1 AEM EMS for DSM's... If the case is silver it's V1, if it's black it's V2 (unless it's a V1 box that was painted)...

Post a pick of it. The v2 case doesn't have the "bevels" in the case like the V1 has.

Series 2 say it on the case. It sounds like you got took for a series 1 "revised". They came in a smaller black case that looks similar to the series 2 but its not. If I remember correctly, the plug will be yellow. Series 2 is gray.

That's what I thought. The dude who sold it to me thinks it is. Hopefully I can return this and get my money back :/
