Just as the title says I have read conflicting sources some say dual pistons. I wanted to order the parts online advance auto has a sale online.

I recall hearing that all awd dsms made after the 1993 model year had the twin pot front calipers... I could be wrong, but thats what I recall reading.

based off of that, your car should have the twin pot front calipers, but maybe you should double check before you order, shouldn't be too hard to jack up the car and see.

Also if you want to upgrade the braking system more you could always run the outlander big brake setup, just giving you another option.

From the factory, all 2g AWD's will have come with dual-piston fronts. However, it's certainly possible that a previous owner has swapped out the calipers to something else. As mitsubishikid suggests, the only way to know for sure is to look.
