Non ABS Axle on car with ABS ?

Well i did a dump thing, my pas side axle boot was torn so i ordered a new axle, not knowing if my car had ABS or not. I ordered an axle for non abs, the shop replaced it not noticing that it was a different axle. I also had the shaft seal leaking and had it replaced 3 time at 2 different shops, the last was with the OEM seal. He told me they were focused on the oil leak and payed no attention to the axle. Will i have any stopping problems, the car stops better this way to me, but i sell the car and the abs does not work i would not feel right. What do you guys think

The only difference is the rings on the axle cup. You do need to have it for the ABS to properly function.

of course the car stops quicker. No abs which basically pumps the pedals insstead of applying static pressure. they don't put abs on race cars. Abs was designed for idiots who do not know how to pump there brakes to avoid a skid. If you go to sell it just order another axle and replace it yourself . It only takes about 2 hours if you havent done it before.

If your ABS light on the dash isn't lit up, then it should work just fine. Mash the brakes on some loose gravel (where you have enough room and aren't going to crash) and see if the ABS is working. That's how I found out mine isn't.
