ABS light pulsing with speed on non abs car

I have just recently got my 90 talon tsi awd running. I got the car with no engine or trans. I swapped the engine out of my 92 tsi fwd. I also swapped the 92 engine harness. There was some minor repining, but I just matched wire colors as I have read others did in the past. Everything seems to be working well. All gauges work, I get ecm data at data port. Car runs good.

The problem is that neither car was an abs car, but the abs light will pulse as I drive. The faster you go the faster it pulses. Depending on where you stop it could be on or off. I dont know what would be causing this. Maybe something is pinned wrong, but idk. I am running the 92 harness, cluster, and a 91-94 eprom ecm. It did this with the 92 non eprom ecm as well. I dont know where to start. If I have something pinned wrong, idk what I have pinned to the abs light. Any suggestions welcome.

Id say just recheck all of your wiring and make sure nothing is grounded that shouldnt be or what not. But also if you car doesnt have abs and is running right other than the annoying light why dont you just pull the bulb for the abs? Just my two cents.

Did you somehow connect the abs light to ECU pin 18 vehicle speed?

That's what i did. My 90 tsi was non abs and used a 91 ecu and gauge that had abs. Mine was doing the same thing. No bulb = no flashing light.

Interesting. At least Im not the only one. I figured that I would pull the bulb if I didnt figure out a cause of it, but just thought I would ask to see if anyone had any ideas.

And yes it does almost act like it is recieving a vehicle speed sensor pulse, but I only matched the wires based on color(which is what I read on here to do) so I dont know the functions of all of the wires that I re-pinned.
