Act 6 puck...when to replace

So I just bought a motor with a six puck clutch attached and i'd like to know how thin the clutch can get before I need to replace it... Like is there a measurement or should I just throw it in and wait til it goes out...it's not that big of a deal to me to drop my tranny

Rule of thumb is to replace it the instant before the rivets bite into your expensive lightweight flywheel.

what the only way to check the condition of it is drop my tranny and check then? its like a little less then half life i guess...i plan on it being my DD and im not goin to drop the clutch/launch...of course there will be the occasional pull to prevent a passing honda or mustang but thats the most abuse it will see

hopefully its not an older act, they have half the rivets and mine ended up coming loose and actually seperating leaving me stranded

Did the company honor that or did your wear off the rivets
