im getting a new act 2600 with a sprung 6 puck for my 1g. its my DD and im looking to get a new flywheel too. how would it drive daily driven with the 6 puck and a act 11lb flywheel? how rough is it gunna be

but with the 11lb flywheel? like i dont want to have to rev to 3k to take off from a stop

Don't understand what you're referring to, but the 11 lbs. will be fine. As far as a DD, you'll the 6 puck will chatter and will hurt your axles and transmission. You shouldn't get it unless you need it. You shouldn't have problems with a street disc on a 16g, they grab pretty good and revving to 3k is nothing for on 2600.

Yeah my buddy talks about the chatter all the time. Why dont you just use a street disk?

i want a 6 puck because im going to put in my 50 trim set up in the spring so i need a strong clutch and something catchy. im saying to take off normal from a stop i dont want to have to rev to 3k to take off from a stop with out bogging. and i hear the 11lb flywheel is going to do that to me with the 6 puck

I have to slip mine to some where between 2,000 and 3,000 to take off but its not that big of a deal (if I dont do that the car likes to do this hopping crap...LOL)
I have the ACT (whatever the 2600 is called now) 6 puck with the Fidanza fly wheel (i belive its 9 pounds).

Its not as bad as you make it sound.

Ageed, NBD. You will adjust to the clutch and find that if you let out the clutch kinda fast at about 900/1k it wont chatter and not to crunchy of a take off. I like my 6 puck, just don't take off from a roll in first, (california roll) it will chatter like crasy.

We just installed that exact setup in my buddy's 2G in place of the 2600 street disc that was in it for 35k miles with over 200 track passes and finally wore out (down to the rivet heads). Once we got the adjustment down, the clutch functions almost identically to the street disc it replaced.
