Ok, so yesterday i installed an act 2600 clutch. I had the flywheel machined to the proper step height etc. Now the engagement point is pretty much about an inch fronm the floor. Me and my brother tried adjusting the pedal but pretty much it stays the same. It dirves but its annoying having to push the clutch all the way to the floor to shift, and it makes stop and go driving rather unpleasant. ANy thoughts, input?

They are a very reputable machine shop. I'm 99% sure they machined it correctly. The possibility is there, but I doubt it. Thanks for the tip though.

Anyone else?

when i installed a centerforce stage two dual friction clutch and had my flywheel resurfaced for the first week or so it had the exact same sympthoms as yours and after I broke it in then it felt like a normal clutch just a little more sensitive than stock.
Eventually the gaugement point will start to gradually raise to normal as you go your 5OO break in miles.

yea no prob, just dont go drag racing and poping the clutch and you should be ok.
The clutch still has to break itself in and make itself at home. If you reach lets say... 3 thousand miles and its still not feeling right then get it check out to make sure the clutch wasnt a dud, or to make sure the installer didnt put everythin back to specs, but like i said same sympthoms I had, just give it time. Good luck
