act 2100 and 2600 visual difference??

if i have an act 2100 clutch kit next to a 2600 clutch kit how can i tell the difference? and what is the easiest way to tell if a clutch is brand new if someone says its been installed and never used. thanks. the act street disk still has the act symbol written on it in white, so im guessing thats never been used before?

Look at the fingers (the part the TOB pushes against) on the pressure plate. The 2100 fingers will be about the same thickness as a stock clutch, the 2600 will have much thicker fingers.

I don't know what you mean by "act symbol in white". We don't identify our discs with white symbols. Our logo and date should be engraved on the center section and it should have an SFI certification sticker on it (if less than 1 1/2 years old). The diaphragm fingers of the Xtreme (2600) are much thicker and we weld a reinforcement ring to the top of the Xtreme cover. The HD (2100) looks more like a stock cover. Both are SFI certified.
