Accessory Wire has no power

Today my radio stopped working so I pulled it out and looked to see if my connections were ok. Everything looked fine so I tested the wires and the batt. was showing power as it should all times. I then tested the accessory wire before and after turning the key and showed no power. I checked the fuses and even tested the fuse port for the radio and it showed power.

Any idea on why this would happen and if there is something I may have overlooked?

Could be a something to do with the ignition switch. Are you sure you checked the big fuses?

I was installing a deck awhile back and shorted a wire out so i checked the fuses and they were all good. Checked the ones under the hood and the (tail) fuse was popped? maybe its linked.
