Hello!

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse 2G GS-T, and I'm trying to fix a yellow ANTI-LOCK light on the dash. it shows up about 5 seconds after turning on the car.

I went to check the fuse and noticed that not only there was no fuse but there was also no pins on the fuse box for the ABS system.

I tought maybe I didn't have ABS but I found the ABS pump and the 4 wheels have ABS sensors.

So far I cleaned the 2 front ABS sensors who were full of dirt but otherwise they look good and cables seem fine.

I measured ohms on both of them (by measuring resistance between the 2 pins on the sensor plug) and they both measured around 1300ohms which is supposedly correct

I then found these 2 connectors below the ABS Pump (in front of the power steering reservoir, from under the car)
It's a 2 pins connector with 2 red and black cables, and then a 10 pin connector that is green. I assumed this was the ABS harness that connects all the sensors and the ECU.
So I measured continuity between the front right sensor to that harness, Pin 1 on the sensor had no continuity to any of the 10 pins, Pin 2 on the sensor had continuity to 2 of the pins
And the exact same thing happened with the other front (left) sensor.

So I'm a little bit lost, what are these 2 connectors? how can I diagnose the issue given that I can't find a scanner in my country for this car that by being 1995 is in the mix between OBD1 and OBD2?

By the way I tested 12v on the red cable in one of the 10 pins of that green connector, so I know is getting power with the key in the ON position.

You could always remove the light bulb from the cluster ;P JK LOL don't do that.
 
They go to the ABS hydraulic unit. Do you have that?

Thanks for sharing, I have the box with the 4 brake lines going to it, is what I called the ABS pump, but then, where do the sensors connect to? straight to the ABS Ecu on the passenger side inside the cabin?
 
Yes, the wheel speed sensors run directly to the ABS ECU inside the cabin.
Thanks so if I understand the diagrams correctly, the ABS ECU has a 35 pins connector (B-58 in the diagram)

And I need to measure continuity between the sensors pins and the ECU like so:
-Rear Left Hand pins 11 and 10
-Rear Right hand pins 30 and 28
-Front Left Hand pins 14 and 15
-Front right hand pins 8 and 33

That way I can be sure that the wires between the sensors and the ECU have no issues, and if all sensors measure resistance around 1130ohms then they're probably fine and the issue is either the ABS hydraulic unit, or the ABS ECU.
