ABS System Delete... ???

Hey guys, anybody knows where to get the ABS Delete kit.
I have had many 1G DSM's in the past and all of the ones that had ABS Did not brake good at all. So this new project I'm working on, is ABS equipped and I wold love to eliminate it. Also it will take some weight from the car too.

I dont know about a "kit" you could buy. I would check out the junkyards and pull the hoses and proportioning valve off some donor. Heres a good vfaq link on removing abs

Yea, you would have to get the non-ABS Proportioning Valve, Non-ABS front brake lines, abd the Non-ABS Master Cylinder to proportioning valve lines like the tutorial says.


I have all these parts for sale off my 1g if you need them.

On my VR4 I just installed new front lines, new lines to the master cylinder and a new Prop valve. Everything else is the same, 1g's may be a little different though. As is said there isn't really a kit, buying used lines is cheap. I got my setup for 50$ iirc. Half the lines were brand new OEM though for that price.
