the 97 gst in my sig did not have abs. its rolled now so it doesn't have anything. but it didn't come with abs.

new brakes meaning new stockers or aftermarket? somethings stainless steel braided lines help your brakes alot i would try those or a big brake kit.

No ABS is not a standard stock option for the 1997 Eclipse GS-T (thank god I hate ABS), it was an option, I have a 1997 Eclipse GS-T with all the options but ASB, so I contacted Mitsubishi and they informed me ABS was not stock option (yay yay yay).

Go brake really hard in a low traction situation

And try not to break anything :p

I hate to bring up an old thread but i searched and cant find my problem..i have a 97 gst spyder, auto. My abs light is on. I looked under the hood and the.large abs fuse is ok, but the smaller 10 amp fuse shown on the lid is missing, as well as the wires under the fuse block, ie there isnt any terminals to plug the fuse into in the smaller abs.fuse.location. i looked for cut/loose wires but didnt see any. Any ideas?
